我最珍而重之的其中一份工作是分享香港人為自由奮鬥的真實故事，不忘新聞上的資訊是每個人的生命亦是國際倡議中能夠獲得更長久支持的重要一環。
近日與美國眾議院的美國與中國共產黨戰略競爭特設委員會（Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party）主席John Moolenaar深入交談，講述香港人被打壓下亦堅柔地反抗的各個故事。由香港最新局勢講到我70歲父親被用作人質囚禁去迫使我在美國噤聲，香港的自由與政治權利繼續收窄至前所未有的景象。特設委員會在推動國會政策推動方面一直扮演著關鍵角色，並將繼續發揮其影響力。我感謝委員會一直的支持，並期待之後的合作。
Sharing the authentic stories of Hong Kongers’ relentless fight for freedom is always a mission I hold dear to heart. Chairman Moolenaar of the Select Committee on the CCP and I spent a fruitful afternoon discussing the experience of repression, resistance, and resilience. From the latest on-the-ground developments to the imprisonment of my 70-year-old father as a hostage to silence my activities on American soil, Hong Kong’s autonomy and political rights decline further into unthinkable lows. The Select Committee has played a crucial role on facilitating policy changes on Capitol Hill, and will only continue to do so. I am grateful for the support and look forward to the continued partnership with the committee.
